TWO DIFFERENT EVENTS OF THE SAINTS.

TWO DIFFERENT EVENTS OF THE SAINTS.

The saints from before tribulation time and the saints from tribulation time.

First the saints from before tribulation time.

We read 1 Corintians 15: 51-52

1 Thess. 4:15-18

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Second the saints from tribulation time.

Revelation 20:4

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 6:9-11

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

See also Rev. 7:9-17

These are all the same people, beheaded while they did not bow for the antichrist. They are all dead! And these people will come to life in Rev. 20:4

That is after the second coming of Christ on earth.

There is two groups of believers.

To start with the first ones: People passed away to be with the Lord and those who will be alive when He comes.

Paul writes : we who are still alive when He comes.

Including himself ! He was waiting for the return of Christ while he was living!

We should all do the same !

Then there is a second group of people who all will be killed, beheaded, during tribulation time.

They will be dead until after the second coming of Christ. And then come to life then.

The Bible is very acurate in this.

  1. One group that is passed away and those who are living.
  2. And one group that is all dead, beheaded.

We must not think that these are the same.

So there must be two different events in which the believers are to be alive with the Lord.

  1. The first group in rapture before tribulation.
  2. The second group after the seven year tribulation.

Therefore encourage one another with these words.

True Christians will be raptured before tribulation.

That is our blessed HOPE !

Maranatha.
